“My daydream spot is in the heart of my community garden that I volunteer at, which is right around the corner from where my first ever New York City apartment was that I lived in for four years.”

“I love that whenever I’m feeling a little homesick or missing my mom, I’m able to come here, connect with my community members, give back to nature, and reset in the middle of such a big city.”

“In this garden, I feel like a little kid again. Like how my mom and I would go to the hardware store and buy a container of ladybugs to release to the garden. Here, I’m curious about what everyone’s planting, and trying to find the little critters in the dirt.”
